Preview any event from inside the game builder

Add a preview panel to the custom game builder so you can hear and see an event before you publish, without leaving the page.

Each row in the events table gets a play button. Pressing it opens a stripped-down version of the game beside the table: the instructor's chat, the metronome, status effects and any prompts, with no media. Playback starts at that row and continues down the list, with pause and stop. A "Play all" button runs the whole game from the top.

So for a tempo or random beat row you hear the real beat at the speed the game would use, based on your account's base tempo. The same preview also works for grip challenges, hold-breath, instructions and interactions.

The preview starts fresh rather than replaying everything before the chosen row, so earlier tempo or grip changes are not applied. Replaying earlier rows at speed is a possible follow-up. The preview will not drive connected devices.

    Just to clarify, would this be for the custom JOI builder screen or did you have something else in mind?

      Yes, I am refering to the custom builder.

      So for example you choose “Random beats” it would be nice to adjust it and then preview the element.

      This could either work in the selection interface itself or in the table after adding it (Little play button on the right where the other buttons are)

      Having the possibility to open the events of other shared JOIs would also be nice but not what I’ve meant here :)

        Thanks for the clarification, I updated the ticket title and description and generalized the feature to work with all instructions, not just random beats.
